Music Showcase
Sunday, March 9, 2008, 2:00 p.m., marks the date and time for the 2008 Gustavus Music Showcase at Orchestra Hall in Minneapolis. In March of 2005, the College’s three internationally touring music ensembles presented the inaugural Music Showcase. The Gustavus Choir, Gustavus Symphony Orchestra, and Gustavus Wind Orchestra joined forces to present that performance and will return to Orchestra Hall on March 9 for an encore performance. This event is a unique opportunity for students, alumni, parents, and friends to celebrate the work of the Department of Music and meet the members of the ensembles at a reception following the performance.
Tickets
Tickets for the 2008 Gustavus Music Showcase are general admission and $22 per person for adults and $12 for students (children age 6-18 and current Gustavus Adolphus College students). Tickets may be purchased online at http://www.minnesotaorchestra.org/boxoffice, by calling 612-371-5656, or in person at the hall box office (located on the corner of 11th St. and Marquette Ave. in downtown Minneapolis).
